Prince Partyup 1981

The February 21, 1981 episode of SNL is notorious for castmember Charles Rocket dropping an F-bomb on live TV.  It was the final straw in a terrible season (the first after the celebrated original cast left), and cost pretty much everyone their jobs.  Allegedly, though, one of the two musical guests had ALSO dropped an F-bomb earlier in the show.  Prince made his SNL debut with "Partyup," featuring backing from Dez Dickerson (guitar), Andre Cymoné (bass), Lisa Coleman (keyboards), Doctor Fink (keyboards) and Bobby Z.
