Sad to hear of the death of SNL castmember Tony Rosato, who helped bring the show back from the brink of cancellation during season seven (1981-82). Here he is doing his excellent impression of Lou Costello (which he did several times on SCTV, but only once on SNL). Not only is this well-written, but Tim Kazurinsky's timing (and scowl) are masterful, even managing to make up for host Robert Conrad's awkwardness during this clever Abbott & Costello re-write. This is from the episode broadcast January 23, 1982 (the first one after head writer Michael O'Donoghue was fired). For another well-done "Who's On First" re-write, here's David L.
